Reports To: Course Manager, Lead Facilitator

Location: Sand Creek Adventures, Jordan MN

Job Purpose: To provide exceptional customer service experiences through greeting guests, gearing up participants, and helping facilitate and tour groups through zip lines, high ropes, and low ropes.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Greet customers as they arrive, check them in
  • Help participants into appropriate gear (harness, helmet, etc.)
  • Instruct participants on proper zip line, high ropes, and low ropes techniques
  • Operate each zip line platform, high ropes position, and low ropes element
  • Provide encouragement and support for participants
  • Perform basic rescues and retrievals in calm and confident manor
  • Work with others to set up high ropes and other equipment
  • Provide basic equipment and course maintenance
  • Assist in other areas of the course as needed

Requirements:

  • Applicant must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be comfortable with heights of 40ft or more
  • Exceptional customer service and people skills
  • Excellent work ethic and drive, self motivator
  • Works well with others, follows directions
  • Ability to confidently engage a group
  • Demonstrates strong leadership qualities
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time


Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in outdoor adventure roles
  • First Aid and CPR/AED certified


Compensation: $16+ per hour based on experience

 

 

Cancellation Policy

Read our cancellation policies below. To make changes regarding your scheduled activities, call us at: (952) 492-5333.

Bookings of less than 10 people require 72 hours notice to cancel reservations.
Cancellations made 72 hours or more in advance of appointment will receive a full refund or a one time reschedule.
Cancellations made less than 72 hours will not be refunded or rescheduled, but can be transferred to another guest.
 

We operate our tours RAIN OR SHINE. However in the case of severe winds or lightning our course management will determine if a tour is cancelled. Guests may be notified at any time, even during a tour,  of the cancellation for safety reasons.

If we cancel your tour, we will work with you to reschedule. If you are not able to reschedule with us due to our cancellation, you will receive a full refund.

We MUST START TOURS ON TIME. Late arrivals and no shows forfeit their payment and spot. No refunds. We will do our best to fit you in another tour if there is room. 

GROUPS OF 10 OR MORE people require a 7 day cancellation notice. Cancellations made within the 7 days forfeit the deposit, or can be rescheduled.

*GROUPS OF 20 OR MORE people require a 14 day cancellation notice. Cancellations made within the 14 days forfeit the deposit, or can be rescheduled.
